Join us Saturday, May 5 from 3 to 5 pm for the launch of Kelly Jazvac; Plastiglomerates, the inaugural publication from Toronto-based publisher Durable Good. The afternoon will feature a conversation about approaches to artist publishing, hosted by DNA Bookshop manager, Ruth Skinner, and Durable Good. Special guests include Liza Eurich and Kim Neudorf.
Plastiglomerates considers how Jazvac’s sculptural practice fits amongst research in diverse fields: earth sciences, environmental activism, and cultural studies. The book features an interview between Jazvac and Patricia Corcoran; essays by Jonathan Griffin and Kirsty Robertson; and new images by Kelly Wood.
The launch also celebrates the occasion of the opening of DNA's expanded bookshop, and Jazvac’s exhibition, Lamina Stamina, on at Museum London from May 5 to September 9, 2018.
